Major Recent Activities

• Coordinator Lead Author for UNDRR-GAR-Special-Report on Drought Complexity, as, (May 2019 – June 2021).

• UNDESA Regional Consultant provides substantive support to the Gov't of Egypt and U.N. partners to designing and implementing effective multistakeholder engagement processes to both give voices to and share knowledge among all parties concerned by sustainability transition, and support the analysis, formulation, and implementation of integrated sustainability policies. (October 2018 - March 2020).

• Chief Lead Author for the Regional Report on "Achieving SDGs in Countries Affected by Conflicts" (December 2019 – February 2021).

• FAO Regional Consultant to Prepare an analytical document outlining the current and emerging trends in FSN, identify the existing policies and programs, and identify potential bottlenecks and gaps to inform the development of an "Integrated Arab Action plan on achieving SDG2 to end of hunger".
